Seed Village is an RDI-driven accelerator for growth hungry companies, created by Kasvu Open and Jyväskylä Business Development Services. In 2026, we are launching two accelerators focused on the themes of hydrogen and human performance. Both accelerators are now open for applications.
Seed Village empowers companies to scale their innovations by connecting them with RDI experts, the latest research data, and world-class testing facilities. Selected companies get to create long-lasting B2B partnerships, gain access to national and international networks and connect with meaningful partners to support their growth.
SEED VILLAGE – H2 FUEL THE MOMENTUM
H2 Fuel the Momentum accelerator is for companies developing and applying hydrogen solutions across the value chain. We help you validate your solutions through piloting and proof-of-concept, identify business potential, and leverage EU funding to support growth.
We are looking for companies that are:
- Active hydrogen players developing technologies and implementing hydrogen in production, storage solutions, mobility, or energy
- Exploring hydrogen as a new opportunity to integrate production, storage, or industrial processes into the value chain
- Developing new hydrogen solutions to create products or pivot existing business toward the hydrogen economy
Program partners: Cefmof, JAMK University of Applied Sciences, University of Jyväskylä, Helen, VTT, ABB, Äänekosken Kehitys and The Startup Factory.

SEED VILLAGE – OPTIMAL HUMAN PERFORMANCE AND WELLBEING
Optimal Human Performance and Wellbeing accelerator is for companies building the future of performance tracking, measurement, injury prevention and data and AI solutions in wellbeing. We help you validate your product, develop your business with expert support, and open doors to meaningful partnerships and networks.
We are looking for companies that are:
- Building next-level solutions using data, wearables, AI, digital platforms, biomechanics, or immersive technologies
- Long-established companies developing new ideas or products for the industry
- Early or idea-stage companies eager to build and validate new solutions
- Have the ambition to reshape performance for both everyday users and elite athletes
Program partners: JAMK University of Applied Sciences, University of Jyväskylä, Finnish Institute of High Performance Sport, Firstbeat and The Startup Factory.
