Esa Eerola is Head of Operations at Cefmof Hydrogen Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Central Finland Mobility Foundation (Cefmof), where he drives the development and implementation of practical hydrogen solutions and partnerships.
His work includes establishing Finland’s first commercial hydrogen refuelling station (HRS) and developing its operations, launching a hydrogen-powered city bus pilot in Jyväskylä, and developing on-site hydrogen production adjacent to the HRS. Through these initiatives, Esa focuses on turning hydrogen ambitions into real-world applications and building the partnerships needed to advance the hydrogen economy.
With over 30 years of experience in high-tech solution development and marketing across the telecom and energy industries, Esa combines technology, business, and collaboration to turn new ideas into practical solutions and accelerate the transition towards a sustainable, carbon-neutral future.
